Pictures of Celebrities at Essence Magazine's December Cover Party in West Hollywood - Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, Lamman Rucker, Malinda Williams & More

The beautiful Sanaa Lathan was there. I was just watching Brown Sugar last night on BET which she stars in as well as Taye Diggs. I love that dress. It's so chic! The whole outfit is sooo cute/pretty!

The exquisite Nia Long was there.

Regina lays a fat one on Sanaa's cheek.

Nate Parker was there.

My baby, the fine and sexy Lamman Rucker was there.

Tia Mowry was there along with her "The Game" co-star Pooh Hall.

Holly Robinson Peete was in the house.

Malinda Williams was there.

Rochelle Aytes

Shaun Robinson was there.

Telma Hopkins is still in the game. She was there.

Charlotte Burley was also in attendance.

Check back for more pictures as I'm sure Gabrielle Union was in the house as well as Nia Long since they are on the cover of Essence's December 2007 Issue. These pictures are hot off the press. As more pictures come in, I will update. Once I do, this paragraph will be erased.

Why Did I Get Married?

Why don't you go see this movie? It made me laugh. It made me cry. It made me mad. It made me swoon which brings me to the cutie of the moment, Lamman Rucker *swoons*. OK, this man played such a wonderful character in the movie. The prince in shining armor, or in his case, a gun totin' sheriff in his patrol car. Pictured below.

Now back to the movie. Tyler Perry, such a wonderful man, outdid himself with this one. For what hollywood would consider a low budget movie, this one topped the box office with $21 million in sales. Janet Jackson's performance took some convincing but she got me eventually. Jill Scott made me cry. Tasha Smith made me laugh all throughout the movie. Michael Jai White took his shirt off once and I almost fainted. My, my my *fans self* Malik Yoba plays Janet's husband in the movie. They play the perfect couple on the outside but are going through so much pain on the inside. Tyler Perry really stepped out of the Madea box this time and played a loving husband whose wife was deceitful and selfish to him. All in all, it was a great movie. It's not a chick flick or a couple's flick. It's an everybody, except the witty bitty children flick. Go see it if you haven't already. I'm getting the DVD for sure.
